That's quite an interesting study, however the title is incorrect. Those numbers are for same-sex molestation only. With all molestation considered, gays and lesbians were only about twice as likely to have been molested.

One curious detail is that for women, all molestation was correlated with homosexuality (though same-sex molestation much more so), but for men, same sex molestation was significantly correlated with homosexuality, while opposite sex molestation was inversely (though weakly) correlated.

The specific definition of molestation used is sexual contact by a person under 16 with a person over 16 and at least 5 years older. I do wonder if this is a little too broad to fully understand the situation. For instance I'd be curious to know how it would change things if it were broken down by whether they regarded the sexual contact as voluntary vs. coercive at the time.
