When the time comes that the cable monster will talk to the humans in human words, the human will be already so heavily wired to it that he will not even see how the decisions of the cable monster will lead to his totally dissolving into meaningless data that gets devoured for nothing. Mankind will just end as cookies for the cable monster.

"Cable Monster" I like it. It conjures the end of the Matrix movies - but also like if the "Cable Man" was actually the corporate A.I. that connects our world and finally has enough of our shit - or is corrupted by the executive board room to do their bidding. But it comes in a fun furry friendly costume with disco music in search of Soylent Green cookies.

I have to admit that I never watched one of the Matrix movies. There are a lot of popular movies I never watched, not too sure why. Last year I watched "The Hobit" and "Lord of the Rings" for the first time. Maybe I should give that "Matrix" a chance, too?
