Before those electric scooters everywhere there was a city tour company that used Segways that still operated. I wonder what they did with the assets.

Bullshit. Nobody wants to wear this thing on their head for longer than an hour and it has a battery pack. All for the low low price of $3500. Real VR is something like in The Matrix where you get to physically experience the virtual world as if you were truly there. That's probably 100-200 years away. In the meantime, the Apple fan-idiots will eat this up.
