Good digging. Thanks for this.

It's unfortunate that Rogan thinks groveling will get him anywhere. Of all people, he seemed to be aware that path was not productive. He cannot "unoffend" the offended, and his attempts play right into their hands. We'll see how it plays out.

I would imagine Rogan is under a considerable amount of pressure from Spotify. They invested a ton of money in him, and he is potentially looking like a liability rather than an asset to them at this point. Something about this just has the scent of Spotify damage control on it to me.

He'd be less if a liability if they'd stop trying to placate the mob. The people who actually listen to his show and use the service vastly outnumbers the fringe weirdos who want Rogan to kill himself.

They need him more than he needs them. He has millions of fans. They will go to whichever platform is hosting his podcasts.

the 'offended' were already offended. it happens when a person acts like a child non-stop.

Who is Meidastouch?

Well, they are a professional political organization. In fact, they are a Democrat "Super PAC" (more on that in a moment) run by 3 brothers

Ben, Brett, and Jordan Meisales [sic]

It's actually Meiselas

"Meiselas is from the Yiddish word for 'little mouse'"

Guys, I didn't write this. It's a twitter thread. Thanks though.

I'm sure Rogan fans, red pillers and the white supremacists he pals around with have his back and will prevent him from being canceled.

Is that what happened with Whoopi Goldberg too?

Don't deflect, the topic at hand is Rogan, not Whoopi.

I'm not so sure. Previous efforts to cancel him were rather unsuccessful, but I suspect this is going to be far more damaging than accusations of misinformation

Rogan has a sizeable left wing audience too

People are over the bullshit of people saying nigger without it actually being directly at a black person. You can say the word, if you use it in context, only morons get mad at it.

A follow up of who else they've targeted would be good.
