wanted their own fiefdom

Yeah THIS is the real problem. It's such a mono-culture, and it squeezes out all alternative viewpoints.

The admins never responded to my PMs, either -- making it partially their fault.

Interesting.

Were you a fan of physical_removal? I see there's a saidit for that, was a mod there too. I got 1.5 million hits to that subreddit in two days for calling Heifer Heyer's death "ethical."

While it is clear that Fields acted out of fear, and his court was a sham, even if he did intend to do what he did it wasn't immoral in the slightest. My family in Europe were oppressed by communists, it's no different than a Jew calling a skinhead nazi getting run over ethical.

Have you seen the video analysis, city layout analysis, etc?

I've seen a few but none of them were all that impressive.

I've seen a couple way back when that make me think it was all a staged event.

One was an analysis of all the footage and how so much seemed so convenient, and it seemed there were multiple takes with similar footage.

Another was an analysis of the city planning and how of all the places this seemed the most inconvenient place possible - unless you really wanted to control the events and intentionally cause the scene to unfold in a specific way.

As for the death, I suspect that was a fluke. Some people are unlucky.

If I recall correctly. I may be thinking of another event, but I don't think so.

The police called it an unlawful assembly and then funneled the WNs into the antifa crowd, causing chaos. Fields was looking to escape the commotion, ran into antifa blocking the road, had his car attacked and then panicked.

"They" say.

If I recall correctly there was a rehearsal on a previous day.
