The idiocy of humans in general is well documented. Internet drama is too boring and dumb to engage, imo. I don't know why, but some kids on these sites seem like they need to find accounts to fight with.

Communities has them. Voat has them. Most commenting sites I've used had them. It's weird to hate the account of another account operator, but then spend major time and energy taking them seriously enough to engage.
