It might be a decent time to head over there and plug Saidit. There's a decent chance that Reddit alternatives could get massive up-votes given the temporary outcry. Why let another crisis go to waste?
Also, I think he's burning down the house in an attempt to get the some smoke on the frontpage. A valiant effort, but it will be lost on most.
It will be interesting to see if the dam breaks when they go IPO.
There could be a flood of new folks over here. Or Reddit may censor Saidit references, and the like.
They're in the psychological warfare business of thought control, so I wouldn't put it past them. :-/
