The thing that tipped me over the edge was the "live" phone call with the Astronauts on the moon and Richard Nixon. Which is impossible, as there is an eight minute delay.
There is a lot more, but that really did it for me.

I think you are mistaken: Radio waves travel at the speed of light. Light takes 8 minutes to travel from the Sun to the earth (~93,000,000 miles / 186,200 miles per second / 60 seconds per minute = 8.3 minutes).
A radio signal from the moon would take about 1.3 seconds (~250,000 miles / 186,200 miles per second).
