Fluoride. We sit here and bitch about this and that, while consuming more and more. Two international health organizations have labeled it a neurotoxin, and too much fluoride has become a legit issue (dental fluorosis), but somehow fluoridation is still a contentious issue.

I was diagnosed at 14 (dental fluorosis), it also effects bones. My arm is cavity free however.

fluoride is a halide and mistaken by our glands as iodine, also a halide... when people die from disease/illness when will we start getting reports, from autopsies, as to the amounts of neuro/glandular toxic halides that are clogged in the glands?!.

I agree. I use a water still to avoid as much as possible. I drink tap water for a day and my mind goes foggy. I'm even coming to believe it's related to Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's is caused by using aluminum cooking pans and pots

alzheimer's major contributing factor is iodine deficiency, which is a competing halide of the poison fluoride, fluoride is a byproduct of aluminum!!!

Really, could you provide a link please? I think you may be on to something.

Do you think chlorine is better, like we have in Europe?

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

it's not a fair comparison as chlorine is used to treat the water and fluoride isn't. fluoride is a topical medicine additive.

Oh. I see fluoride just overtreats the people drinking the water, it does not disinfect the water. Toothpaste already has fluoride.

My mind is blown at the corruptness of the US water works. Thanks for the reply!

Yeah it's really quite bizarre. I think the US and much of the world is slowly rolling back fluoride, but it's contentious and is gonna take a long time.
