There have been even more threads in r/rant, r/changemyview, r/outoftheloop and random comments in different subs with upvotes in the hundreds sometimes even thousands.

Yuck. That's why I left Reddit, in addition to the bans & downvotes. Too much of a hivemind there - if you disagreed with a 'popular' sentiment, you were instantly downvoted into oblivion.

This is why if/when saidit gets big, the hivemind won't be able to censor anyone, because we have no downvote. It will only be able to promote things. So it'll be a friendly hivemind that will support a wide variety of interests, rather than a punishing hivemind that has an ever-narrowing ideology. That's the plan anyway.

I couldn't expect anything worse from Reddit but guess i'm proven wrong again. I don't get how you can blame a person for something he didn't have control of neither knowledge that something like this will happen to begin with. Horrible site...
