So I responded to another endless article about how only the Israelis are bad and Hamas are saints. It suggested that Israeli bombs hit a school killing a bunch of kids. I posted:
"According to whom? Hamas? I wouldn't trust them to tell me it was raining if I was standing outside in it." Or something to that effect. I got permabanned for breaking the rule below:
"Do not glorify collective punishment or use dehumanizing language. Do not generalize an entire population based on the negative actions of some members & do not glorify collective punishment or suffering (including collective violence)."
I give two shits about a sub that purports to be about International News, but clearly leans into pro-Hamas/Palestinian (same difference), but it's the principle. If I'd said "Palestinians" instead of "Hamas," I'd get it, but I didn't. I called out what has always been a terrorist group, which even the pro-Palestinians don't readily deny. This fucking mod insists I'm breaking that rule. Thoughts?
I reported it as moderator abuse (which is hard to find), and I doubt anything will happen, but I'm too pigheaded to just let it go.
