Fascism 101:

1) Investment by rich and/or powerful people in massive PR campaigns blaming everyone's problems on blacks, browns, mexicans, homeless, LGBTQ+, liberals, moderates, 'Jesuits', Jews, intellectuals, scientists, medicine, democracy, education, environmental protection, library books, teachers, Ukrainians, government regulations of corporations and Wall Street, &c.

2) Part of this misinformation PR campaign proposes baseless claims (some of which might have merit) that the government uses "fake news" and warfare as part of their controlled opposition

3) American idiots attack anyone and everything that this PR campaign tells them to attack, assuming that everyone and everything is the enemy, with the exception of a small minority of people - and many rich investors - who want fascist and corporate control of everything.

4) Corrupt authoritarian/fascist GOP candidates who benefits from this PR campaign are elected to political office and continue destruction of science funding, democracy, education, environmental protection, library books, teachers, Ukrainians, government regulations of corporations and Wall Street, &c, while promoting hatred and division.

5) Rich and/or powerful investors profit temporarily while the standard of living for the 99% continues to get progressively worse, 40 years on.
