Okay I agree with everything you said, but I don't see what the big deal is about the family blood line. It comes up a lot so I'm curious.

Your heritage and your way of life depends on you continuing your family line. How your children help craft humanity is vital to our existence. That is all.

How so? You obviously know your own kids, you'll probably meet your grandkids and great grandkids, but that's it. What happens after that is of no relevance to you, and you can't predict or control what your descendents will do. What about people who don't have kids at all? Do they not have lives?

I actually think it's not such a bright idea to drag another innocent life into this world. I don't believe in any form of coercion so extinguishing existing life is out of the question, including the unborn. But creating new flesh in the first place isn't as ethical as it seems. I don't expect you to understand any of this though. I've reached a point where I know more about the world than the human mind was meant to handle. And it's not a place you want to be.

You seem to be arguing that life and existence hold no meaning, and are inherently without merit. If you believe this to be a self evident truth, then we have nothing to say to each other at this time.
