Detransitioners are about 1 or 2 percent of those who transition.

It's likely that someone is being mislead by gender ideology. Amongst the possibilities that we're considering should be that it's you.

Is your problem with the existence of gender dysphoria?

Or do you think that the current best practise ways of dealing with it could be improved?

The current best practice isn't clearly the best since suicide rates are still high even after surgery, and before you give me the"Suicide is high because of a lack of acceptance and discrimination".Bro,the surgery does not change ones biological sex no matter how many lies are said about the neovaginas or neopenis.Secondly,what is discrimination?Because i've seen transcels that say a lesbian or cis man not dating a trans woman is enough to cause them to want to kill themselves or misgendering is enough to have suicidal thoughts.What ever happened to trying to get people to accept themselves for who they're biological born as?If trans people can't live in a world where they can't except themselves for who they're biological born as then that's their problem not ours.

A guy has a bad back. Psychiatrist says it's all in his head. Chiropractor says he needs to stretch. Surgeon recommends spinal decompression. GP says to take ibuprofen and fuck off. The gender reassignment advisor says he should cut off his penis. Peer review means shit when all science is vulnerable to bias.

Interesting enough abstract. I can't find the full paper for free. Note that it says:

  • Interpersonal microaggressions, made a unique, statistically significant contribution to lifetime suicide attempts and emotional neglect by family approached significance. School belonging, emotional neglect by family, and internalized self-stigma made a unique, statistically significant contribution to past 6-month suicidality.

Note that it doesn't say:

  • HRT and Surgery makes a significant contribution to lifetime suicide attempts

So this does not refute what I say above: Nevertheless, surgery reduces suicide attempts. It also reduces anxiety, depression, and symptoms of gender dysphoria and increases reported life satisfaction, happiness and quality of life, as uncovered by the meta-analysis linked.
