I don't think it's ethical to just choose to sleep around. If you're open to meeting someone to marry, and you get with some people on the way, well, that's just reality now. But this idea of just dedicating oneself to being permanently unattached and promiscuous until your hormones finally just dry up is anathema to me. People need to grow the fuck up.

It's better for young people to sow their wild oats, otherwise they're always going to wonder if there's something better out there. There is some trial and error involved. Not every relationship should be a forever relationship, and that doesn't denigrate its importance.

I don't think so. I have seen very few long-lasting solid relationships, they're rare. You can't pick a woman out of a catalog based on her stats (unless you're my boy u/fschmidt ✊🏿). There's only so many people who are a good fit for each other.
