As an insider to the conservative world I would say the rights of the unborn is one of the few things they still genuinely care about. The mainstream media is fake news, they present anti-abortion stances as attacks on womens' autonomy, when that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

So you think a woman's right to control her body should override someone else's right to not be murdered? Unfortunately there are cases where rights conflict, and the least oppressive option needs to be taken, not the wokest one.

Since we're playing fast and loose with the definition of murder: let's say this pregnancy is ectopic or septic or otherwise likely lethal for the woman. Is the baby attempting murder on the woman? Does the woman have the right to defend herself in this case?

There are a few edge cases, but contrary to what SJWs seem to think that doesn't make it a valid excuse the other 99% of the time.

So you agree there are edge cases. Maybe there are other edge cases as well we didn't think of. Maybe it could be considered on a case by case basis, by the person who it affects and a medical professional, perhaps.

Most Republicans wouldn't ban abortions for those cases. It's the radical abortion for any reason at any time crap the media pushes that they're not okay with. Most people irl are not like the radical leftist media, including liberals. However, they are the ones who control information and sway lawmakers. And yes, many of them do want abortions and have no regard at all for life, just as long they're woke af.
