Yes, because Zelensky refused to remain neutral. Not that I agree with Russia's bullying, but if he thought NATO and the US were going to come save him, he was obviously quite mistaken, and his people are now paying the price.

I don't. I am merely questioning the adoring narrative surrounding Zelensky. Obviously Putin is a bad guy, I just am not convinced Zelensky is a hero, and the media isn't giving me very balanced or nuanced coverage. Putin bad! Ukraine good! Is all I ever hear from the media, and yes, Putin bad, but I am not willing to confer hero status to Zelensky just yet.

So he is intentionally destroying Ukraine and getting Ukrainian people killed on purpose? Ukraine was obviously being used as bait in order to get rid of Putin, with the destruction of the country being deemed worth it in order to remove a constant thorn in the Neocons/neoliberals side, Putin.

Ukraine has basically zero chance of "winning" at this point. The neocon goal is to turn it into another Afghanistan in order to bleed the Russians. Zelenksy was either too fucking stupid to know this, or too sociopathic to care. Take your pick. Either way he brought about the destruction of his country.

    This is exactly what liberals on Reddit support. They support shutting down people who advocate against vaccine mandates or people who advocate traditional values. Redditors don’t support freedom of speech or freedom in general.

    Plus, Redditors for the most part believe whatever mainstream media outlets tell them to believe. They don’t think for themselves.

    It's funny in my lifetime I witnessed the shift from the left being the reasonable class and the right was the religious zealouts, to the left becoming the religious zealouts and the right the crowd more interested in reason, facts and debate.

    I’ve noticed this too. I was left wing until 2017, and right wing for a couple of years after that. Now I don’t think left or right really matters anymore. It’s just reasonable people versus religious zealots (and yes, religious zealots include atheists and agnostics who worship celebrities and politicians). I guess you could call me right wing, but I’m willing to align myself with people on the left on certain issues I can agree with them on. But right now the leftists have gone insane, while the right wing is still weak.

    Ukraine has been a Russian puppet basically since it became independent until 2014, its improved a lot since then, and if it does eventually join the EU that kind of thing will not be tolerated. Even if it did not change at all it is already leagues better than Russia.

    I've noticed the female equivalent of this strange sort of self degrading lefty virtue signaling is when women who normally complain about "creepy" guys hitting on them declare that they would perform all sorts of involved sexual acts on and with the person or persons (usually an older male like "bernie" that would, in any other context be categorized as 'creepy') that align(s) with them politically/ideologically....It's like the world has been waiting in the wings for these idiots to degrade themselves and this is the price for the degradation....

    Maybe. But that could also be semi-organic. Reddit's mechanism encourages groupthink and punishes dissent. So once large subs begin to swing a particular direction, encouraged by the mods who censor posts, it begins to kick out everyone else, like you say. That doesn't necessarily require paid activists. Albeit the admins and many of the mods are effectively working as paid activists to some extent.

    If you are the president of Ukraine you have one primary job. Dont get invaded by Russia. Previous ukrainian presidents all managed that simple task by not overtly antagonizing Russia and threatening them with Nato expansion. Finland has managed that simple task for 80 years by doing the same because their leaders actually give a fuck about not destroying their country and getting countless citizens killed.

    Some Jew actor with zero political experience gets put into office with the help of one of the most corrupt Jewish oligarchs on planet earth(which is saying a lot) and instantly fails at that one crucial task.

    Rather than correcting his mistakes in order to spare widespread death and destruction. He then continuously goads Ukrainians into getting themselves killed, lets violent felons out of prison and arms them, resulting in total chaos. He is literally destroying Ukraine while repeatedly covering himself in the glory of Ukrainians doing the actual fighting, with the Jew media jizzing all over themselves because of his manufactured bravery. Meanwhile ukraine gets destroyed.
