So I'm guessing that in American/Canadian "made them" means "warmed them up in the oven".

That's what they do everywhere they buy them frozen and put them in the microwave oven and they call it cooking a dinner

Most people can't cook these days. I have been known to bread & fry chicken at 3am for a snack, it's not always better to be able to do that.

I like that nobody links to Snopes anymore. Their credibility is shot.
