Yes it is. The whole system of users and moderators was always toxic to begin with. History has taught us, the authority to censor others should be very carefully controlled yet reddit admins attribute that authority willy nilly. Such easily aquired authority attracts mentally ill people who are obsessed with controlling and interfering and of course when that extends to community groups that are predominantly children it is obviously going to attract these sexual deviants who would seek to exploit them. I think reddit is especially toxic because the entire platform is built around porn while at the same time it hosts all those gaming communities that attract children.
