Yeah they have been doing that. It seems they have a system that vote caps new posts based on their subject so the ones they want to suppress just forum slide down to oblivion.

Actually they manipulate it mostly so that default mods and cabal power users can always have the front page.

I urge everyone reading this to permanently delete all their reddit accounts (but save your old comments if you want).

Yeah, after they hide the individual up and down vote totals, whose change you could immediately see, I figured they were playing games. That was the beginning of the end for the "old" Reddit people liked.

Well, I think they do manipulate the scores in favor of certain subreddits and default mod cabal members, and against everyone else.

However, you might also be banned, caught by the spam filter, be voting from someone's user profile page (this is shadowbanned to prevent vote stalkers and bots from targeting specifc users), or someone else downvoted while you upvoted (check if the % upvoted is any different). Or, ocassionally there's a caching delay.
