US citizenship costs $1 million for foreigners (half a mil for investing in a "distressed area"). Most people don't realize they couldn't afford to be a citizen here if they weren't born here.
Liberals getting scared and wanting to throw away that expensive citizenship is nothing new. There was even a time I had wanted to go to Canada after dealing with the court system. They're also too expensive to get in, but costs half what the US does.
