You claim they are about to figure something out, but I can't find a single intelligent comment. Perhaps you could explain what that epiphany is.

Sometimes 'alt-right' is alt-anything that can avoid reality, like:

A subreddit for those who want to end work, are curious about ending work, want to get the most out of a work-free life, want more information on anti-work ideas and want personal help with their own jobs/work-related struggles.

I don't see anything. This seems the typical tendency of the left to denounce each other, the newly denounced faction apparently in disbelief despite having gone the same to others.

Each comrade gets their turn on the scaffold.

1) socialism is for retarded faggot losers

2) being “antiwork” sounds like a great way to end up in a gulag after the revolution

Yeah, LOL as if people aren't going to work after the Revolution. You're going to work, comrades, harder than you've ever worked before. And if you think you're getting a salary like the capitalists gave you, nope. You're going to get a subsistence existence and have two other families moved into your house. There will be no toilet paper (for some reason this always happens under socialism).

Fuck corporations and fuck The Man. I retired as soon as I was able. Now when headhunters try to recruit me I gleefully tell them I'm retired. One recruiter got pissed off that I refused to consider returning to work. I even told them I would not take the vaccine and I woudln't take a drug test. Didn't matter. Seems the employer actually requested they try to hire me specifically for the position as I used to be considered the go to expert on an obscure software development kit. The actual truth is I read the manual. They just think I'm good.

Just a wee point - not about you, but - many born after '65 won't be able to afford to retire. Must protest big corp now. Nothing to lose.

Maybe I'm way out of the loop but isn't antiwork basically a Marxist community?

[–]jet199 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't know how when Marx's thing was basically how great meaningful work is.

he said workers were alienatated and should organize together and rise up, if workers owned the means of production things would be better
