what is a twelve step meeting?

Reddit is a dirty nyc metro, a lot of retards gather there everyday to piss and shit on each other. it is as if the moderators of reddit are zedong reincarnated as a dirty unhygenic transgender retard who love to ban people for dissenting from the normal opinion, except on an online forum.

what is a twelve step meeting?

many different groups use the twelve steps as a model for recovery from some sort of dysfunction or addiction. Alcoholics Anonymous is one such group. There are many other groups that use the twelve steps. Cocaine anonymous. Narcotics anonymous. Marijuana anonymous. etc, etc.

Here is the weird part of these groups.. they all claim to not be religious and that they are not a religion.. but count all of the references to god in the twelve steps.. basically, it is all bullshit.

The twelve steps:

At all the resistance rallies there's a lot of religious folks too.

We can argue about imaginary sky gods again when tyranny chills out a bit.

Until then they're allies.

Sounds interesting. Does it work and why did you decide to go? And also, what do you think about the response to Covid-19 in developed countries?

[–]Zvezda 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

So why do you decide to go there if you know it barely works?

[–]ActuallyNot 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

It's got a foothold in America for historical reasons. Courts will often require AA attendance as part of conditions for drunk driving or antisocial behaviour.

They're heavily religious based, and many judges are religious, so they probably genuinely believe in it as an approach, despite the lack of evidence. It raises constitutional questions regarding separation of church and state, but the US is descending away from rationality and towards theocracy at the moment, at least at a supreme court level, so that's likely to get worse for a couple of generations.

[–]Zvezda 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thanks for the response :)

So why do you decide to go there if you know it barely works?

The 13th step is getting laid.

[–]d3rr 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

It does sound like bullshit, but they have the highest success rates outside of new school treatments like psychedelics. Other groups have had 75 or 100 years to beat AA, but they have not.

[–]humancorpse[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

AA is successful because AA says it is successful. AA claims to not be a religion because if it were a religion the treatment centers that use the AA big book as the core of it's "treatment" of a "disease" couldnt submit a bill to insurance companies for "religious services rendered".

Treatment centers can not submit bills to insurance claims for religious services, but it can submit bills to insurance for treatment of a disease.

many think that the success of AA can not be measured because it is anonymous and records are not kept, but i suggest that all you have to do is to attend a few of their meetings and take note of how many people are there in their first thirty days and how many are six months or less etc etc.

most people that attend AA leave soon after because they realize that it is a room full of religious loons.

also, a not so well known bit of trivia is that there are many people that attend AA that NEVER DRANK yet they believe they are really alcoholics.

[–]d3rr 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

However, outpatients who received 12-step facilitation were more likely to remain completely abstinent in the year following treatment than outpatients who received the other treatments.

https://web.archive.org/web/20071029204522/http://www.niaaa.nih.gov/NewsEvents/NewsReleases/match.htm

AA does have a huge first-mover advantage, I'll concede that*

[–]AmericanMuskrat 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't know how they're measuring success rates of an anonymous meeting exactly.

I will never forgot to wear my mask when around other people and to not go near people so I become incredibly socially awkward and afraid of showing my face! I cannot imagine how bad it is for young kids who know absolutely nothing about what is happening and are having to distance from their friends and wear a stupid piece of cloth to "protect themselves". I hope the next generation are not incredibly gay :)

It's okay, /u/socks says vaccines are safe and great.

/s

[–]socks 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (71 children)

Why pick on me? I didn't say they're "great"; I wrote that they are safe and have helped reduce the spread of COVID19, thereby ending the lockdowns, so that the 99% can get back to work. Are they "great"? No. Moreover, we'll see other SARS viruses, as we've seen in the past. It's important that they aren't allowed to spread and mutate, which is why the vaccines are so important, as they latch onto infected cells and thereby help create antibodies without the patient becoming seriously ill in the process. Many of those who've had COVID are still suffering, whereas others are relatively OK. Avoiding serious illness is important for one's health. The vaccines - as we know now - are not dangerous, though one of the vaccines is now studied for potential blood clot problems in a handful of people. (I also appreciate that writing any of this on Saidit will only result in attacks against me, with all kinds of insults and unusual arguments. But someone should offer additional information here, just as they should also post additional information [with reasonable evidence] on /r/conspiracy without being banned - and I do see a lot of anti-vax posts there - and at the various ban evasion subs on Reddit, especially those supporting Trump.)

[–]neomarxist_bullshit 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (24 children)

I have a similar opinion, I myself got vaccinated and had no issues... though I understand anyone who has concerns and doesn't want to get vaccinated.

In my country Czechia millions were vaccinated and if they all had some serious side effects I'd say we'd know about it. For most it appears to be safe.

[–]Earendil 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (12 children)

I also think you are just lucky, and that there are lots of undiagnosed issues with your peers, if not with you as well.

The very fact that the GovCorp has paid shills spending all day every day on little websites like Saidit shilling for the vaccine and the vaccine pass should prove that there is something malignant with these vaccines.

You are guinea pigs. If it's not a medical experiment, then it's a social one. I think it's both though.

[–]neomarxist_bullshit 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

You are guinea pigs. If it's not a medical experiment, then it's a social one. I think it's both though.

I mean it could be if the covid thing was a conspiracy from the start.

To me so far the whole things looks like a lot of incompetence.

[–]Earendil 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

Incompetence? I might agree, but only because the central planners are indeed incompetent.

But this isn't some accidental situation that naturally occured. It's a planned crash.

[–]neomarxist_bullshit 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

It's a planned crash.

Who's benefiting from the crash? China where it originated and which is trying badly to blame someone else?

Unless there's something going on that even China doesn't know about.

[–]Earendil 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

The insanely rich globalists. They come in all colors. There are Chinese in this group, but I don't think they care about China.

You do realize how much better off some of these people are ever since the start of the pandemic, right?, and you think they got this way through incompetence?

[–]neomarxist_bullshit 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

The insanely rich globalists.

Would it really be worth releasing a deadly virus just to get more money? That would be like from some super villain movie. Not to mention that their own people (family) could die as well, either from the virus or the vaccine.

The "population reduction" theory sounds more believable than this.

[–]Zvezda 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It is worrying, I hope the CIA leave a random file somewhere for someone to find like they did with Tonkin! :))

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

If it's not a medical experiment, then it's a social one.

In which case you're a guinea pig too.

I think it's both though.

Big experiment. 6.52 billion doeses have been administered. Surely a few million would be enough to measure medical outcomes.

What outcomes do you think they're looking for?

NONE of this COVID hysteria is worth this.

[–]ActuallyNot 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Imagine a vaccine so safe you have to be threatened to take it.

I didn't have to be threatened to take it. I can see why medical professionals and service providers should not be able to work without the vaccination, unless they're medically unable to get it.

For a disease so deadly you have to be tested to know you have it.

The reason you have to be tested is that you're infectious for about a week and a half before you're symptomatic.

Having said that, lots of deadly diseases have carriers that are not symptomatic: Including covid-19. Typhoid Mary was a famous unsymptomatic carrier of typhoid.

wow. as usual with this place, cant decide if this is funny or sad.

The reason you have to be tested is that you're infections for about a week and a half before you're symptomatic.

not sure what language this sentence is supposed to be in. did your translate program fail on this one?

Typhoid Mary was a famous unsymptomatic carrier of typhoid.

shes also famous for possibly having nothing to do with it at all. you dont do much research on your bullshit do you?

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

not sure what language this sentence is supposed to be in.

Good point. "Infections" should have been "infectious".

did your translate program fail on this one?

If you can't pass a sentence with one letter wrong, you must have a lot of trouble with accents. Do you have a lot of trouble understanding spoken English?

shes also famous for possibly having nothing to do with it at all.

I didn't know that. Her wiki page doesn't mention that. Do you have a source I could read?

you dont do much research on your bullshit do you?

The point is asymptomatic carriers exist. I the case of COVID-19, that's everyone in their first week of infection.

saline placebo

The vaccination center I got the shot in was run by our army, so I hope everything was okay there. I had a really good feeling about the place, the whole thing looked really professional.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

In a depopulation war of disinfo and lies, when you say "the whole thing looked really professional" it proves you're thinking superficially, not properly, about the real deeper threats and judging the pretty nice book cover of tyranny should be the least of your concerns. How many suckers are they going to lure to their deaths if you have a bad feeling about this?

I also appreciate that writing any of this on Saidit will only result in attacks against me

as it should. btw, i live in a rural area. i know this is general, and does not apply everywhere, but ive experienced 2 serious covid cases(one of which being myself), and 2 serious reactions to the non-vaccines. the 2 of us that just got through it are doing way better than the 2 who got the shots.

They're not as dangerous as COVID-19.

TTS affects 2-3 people per 100,000 vaccinated.

Long covid affects about 1/3rd of people infected, and death affects about 1,000-2,000 for every 100,000 infected in the first world.

None of the current US covid "vaccines" prevent infection or transmission. Surely you've heard this by now? You can claim that transmission is reduced, sure...

None of the current US covid "vaccines" prevent infection or transmission. Surely you've heard this by now? You can claim that transmission is reduced, sure...

Campaigns against the vaccine focus on this point about 'prevention', whereas the purpose of the vaccine is to help build antibodies, especially among those who get the virus (I've linked to the medical papers previously, and can offer another link), thereby reducing the spread and mutation of the virus because more people have antibodies now than they did before. Unvaccinated people who get COVID19 will respond in a number of ways, from mild symptoms to severe or critical condition, and rarely, death, as well as ongoing physical and fatigue problems thereafter. Disclaimer: I was not paid by George Soros to say this. I merely study science and its history.

[–]d3rr 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

the purpose of the vaccine is to help build antibodies

yes, because it's a leaky piece of shit "vaccine" and CANNOT PREVENT INFECTION OR TRANSMISSION, unlike all of the prior vaxxes that we grew up with

[–]socks 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

Not to bother you about this, but the main difference is not the "leaky" aspect, but the fact that the SARS CoV-2 mRNA vaccine has none of the virus in it; rather it latches onto infected cells in order to build antibodies. Thus both vaccines help build antibodies, thout the latter does so without giving a portion of the virus (and previous vaccines had a portion of the virus). In that manner, there is no risk of giving someone COVID19. I know I'm not going to convince anyone on this website about any of this, but that's the skinny on the latest "international conspiracy to sterlize 8 billion people with the latest mRNA tech."

[–]d3rr 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Yes I know how the mRNA "vaccine" works. You are the one implying that these "vaccines" prevent infection and transmission, which is dead wrong. You should go work with with Fauci if you want to lie to the public or use imprecise language.

You can be pro vax all you want, but I will continue to call out everyone's factual inaccuracies.

im more concerned with people, in this thread even, still using the word 'vaccines' as if thats what this shit is.

You are correct. These poison shots are not vaccines.

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

They vaccinate against COVID-19.

In what way aren't they vaccines?

How are they poisons?

If they are poisons, what is the LD50?

If you don't know the LD50, how do you know they're poison?

If you don't want to engage the subtext is:

1) Of course its a fucking vaccine.
2) They are not fucking poisons. They are vaccines. The only poisons people inject are the dumbarses who inject botulism toxin.
3) There's no LD50, so no justification for calling it a poison.

1) Of course its a fucking vaccine.

Actually, experimental injection.

2) They are not fucking poisons.

Actually, harming and KILLING COUNTLESS LIVES /s/VaccineInjuries .

3) There's no LD50, so no justification for calling it a poison.

Actually, there is no justification for this tyrannical harmful lockdown (or your BULLSHIT). Quarantine the sick and weak, the rest is obvious tyranny.

Actually, go fuck yourself, your sealioning, and your lies, authoritarianism, and big pharma propaganda.

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Actually, experimental injection.

It's a vaccine. It vaccinates against COVID-19. It's no longer experimental. It's been though phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 testing. And billions have been vaccinated.

Actually, harming and KILLING COUNTLESS LIVES

There's no evidence that it's killing more than a few per million. Countless fewer than it's saving.

Actually, there is no justification for this tyrannical harmful lockdown (or your BULLSHIT).

Reducing the spread of a disease that is killing people is the justification for the lockdowns.

Quarantine the sick and weak, the rest is obvious tyranny.

Plausible if by weak you mean unvaccinated. Is that not what we're doing?

Actually, go fuck yourself, your sealioning, and your lies, authoritarianism, and big pharma propaganda.

It vaccinates against COVID-19.

BULLSHIT

It does nothing to prevent people from getting sick or passing it on.

It's no longer experimental.

BULLSHIT

Only one out of five.

And billions have been vaccinated.

BULLSHIT

Most have been injected with experimental shit that harms and kills countless masses and they are intentionally destroying all "health"care systems.

There's no evidence that it's killing more than a few per million. Countless fewer than it's saving.

BULLSHIT

Reducing the spread of a disease that is killing people is the justification for the lockdowns.

BULLSHIT

Plausible if by weak you mean unvaccinated. Is that not what we're doing?

BULLSHIT

I, and countless like me, are not vaccinated and are doing just fine.

What are the vaccines?

ok, let me hold your hand and show you how to use the internet:

vaccine văk-sēn′, văk′sēn″ noun

A preparation of a weakened or killed pathogen, such as a bacterium or virus, or of a portion of the pathogen's structure that upon administration to an individual stimulates antibody production or cellular immunity against the pathogen but is incapable of causing severe infection.

and thats the CHANGED definition. none of the jabs do any of that. need anymore help? im here for you.

"... or of a portion of the pathogen's structure that upon administration to an individual stimulates antibody production or cellular immunity against the pathogen but is incapable of causing severe infection"

This correctly describes many of the vaccines. It describes the product of the mRNA vaccines.

Kind of fascinating that of all institutions those who provided the historically unparalleled opportunity of global real-time communication and debate are the same who now try to prevent us from enjoying the benefits of debate. There is no science without debate. Science could have gotten a huge boost, instead they abandoned science and put all their efforts into throwing us back into the middle ages where a small reclusive class of people determined "the truth" and ruled by censorship while the sheep just followed.
