Edit: you gotta read this, they’re downvoting it so heavily dude. I’ve never seen a post with a high amount of upvotes & rewards on reddit drop to 300 post karma, even during election time. They’re trying to bury this without removing it.

You don't think that post is just a little bit convoluted and speculative?

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

Honestly, convoluted, no. Speculative yes. I’ve been following this too, the context all in order gave me this feeling too. Especially with the Tweets from the head developers of GameStop’s NFT. Then all the hidden messages in code, or straightforward ones like making and deleting an account within a day named “leavemeanon” which isn’t the first time that “phrase” has popped up from GameStop’s side either, while sharing insanely knowledgeable DD about the market, ETFs, and hinting at this being the ultimate solution.

GameStop also purposefully set their nft up for Bastille Day, and it fits the three month law for NFTs (they announced and started in April, so this was done on purpose date-wise). Everything combined, and in context, makes insane sense.

I understand if this is too tinfoil for you or anyone else tho, I know you’ll know what I mean (as will others), when I say this is a thing you had to be there for to truly feel, and these events that lead to this DD weren’t caught by everyone and happened slowly over months - yet are all linked by dates, statements or the phrase “game on anon” and “leave me anon”.

I still think people should read this without bias, and take this concept in for just a moment. Whether you believe it or not.

The idea Gamestop is going to handle the issuance of their own stock is interesting, but others have said that's boilerplate language, and I don't see why it'd be done as an NFT, stocks are fungible.

The problem I have with NFTs is they suck and they're useless. It'll probably just be something like virtual Funko Pop cards you can buy with ethereum at best, some loot box system at worst.

I haven't lost faith on Gamestop but I don't think their NFTs are the saviors anyone is hoping. It's an overhyped tech.

I can respect all of that!

But I’m sure when the internet first came out, people felt the same way. The masses didn’t know where it would lead them 30 years later.

who knows what our future holds..

The idea of a NFT dividend makes no sense to me. Totally admit maybe I'm not realizing the potential of NFTs... But I've tried to love them. They're just kind of useless, just sit there in your crypto wallet doing fuck all. I

IMO, NFTs are a scam.

However, the idea may be one day be modified into something that's actually useful.

Pretty cool if true, although Overstock used their own crypto which makes more sense to me as a dividend than using NFTs.

Anything would be welcome though, retail interest is waning. I know I don't really follow it closely anymore and was considering limiting my exposure, I could buy it back cheaper as more bored investors check out.

Summarize in English like I'm 5.

Just as the GameStop folks are trying to rebuild the global financial system from the ground up.

We also need to rebuild the global justice system from the ground up. Other systems too.

Natural Law is that foundation. Mark Passio's speech is excellent but too long. Someone needs to summarize it in a half an hour or less.

Shit just got more nonsensical the farther sown you read, and it seemed to culminate as an advertising piece for some blockchain nonsense.
