I see no meaningful difference between a white man identifying as a Korean and a straight man identifying as a lesbian. Both situations it's a majority group identifying into a minority group. There's no argument to be made that this guy isn't Korean that doesn't also apply to some straight dude claiming to be a lesbian.

This crap is why the LGBT Community left me behind: they wan'o make LGBT about race, when it's supposed to be about sexuality and gender identity. They literally made a racist pride flag and a neo-Progressive pride flag both with black and brown stripes for people of color. At least they have a confederate pride flag! Oh, but I'd be called a racist Nazi for flying it... Lovely double standards! Queer people of all races matter equally; black- and brown-folks ain't somehow superior to us white-folks.

You can definitely assimilate into another culture (which all immigrants should do), but you can't change your race — just like how you can't change your sex! They're both hard-wired into your genetics, and there ain't no'n you can do to change it — which is why I don't believe in sexual reassignment surgery: you can't "reassign" your sex. And you can't "transition" to another race either.

I had no idea about those flags, that's insane. Threads like that one always surprise me because for a group of people who are obstensibly about inclusion and the rights of marginalized people, they sure are a bunch of hateful fucks. They even go after their own, you can't stray an inch from the approved narrative. I've been trying to tell them that's shooting themselves in the foot -- got a warning from the admins for threatening violence 😂

    We need hard-line, right-wing authoritarianism now! None of this insane lunacy should ever have been tolerated, ever. Any man who thinks he is a woman, should be dealt with, and vice versa. Should not have entertained Bruce Jenner's lunacy. Really it goes back to acceptance of gay marriage. Needed to stop them even before that with normalization of gays a la Ellen etc. Really probably should have held the line at miscegenation.
