To say that Christianity is an "organized religion" shows that you know nothing about what it is to be a Christian. Christianity is a way of life that fundamentally and profoundly changes a person for the better. Anybody who's life is truly in Christ knows that.

Dictionary or·gan·ized re·li·gion Learn to pronounce noun noun: organized religion; plural noun: organized religions; noun: organised religion; plural noun: organised religions

a structured system of faith or worship, especially one followed by a large number of people, such as Christianity, Islam, or Judaism.

I grew up in the cult for half of my life. Not only is it the very definition of "organized religion", it has done way more harm than good. You're right about one thing(after being beyond wrong about the entirety of your reply)-it profoundly changes a person. After figuring out how dumb and horrible the whole thing is it changed me for the better!

I'm sorry to read that you had a horrible experience with what you euphemistically (and obviously hatefully) call "a cult" but I'll fall back on my own personal experience and guess that you have absolutely no memories at all of ever liking Christianity, Christians or the Church. I'll also call on my fifty plus years of experience and guess that you always hated being told what to do, always hated what you considered "rules" of any kind and anyone or anything that even hinted at rules annoyed you at the least and infuriated you at most. This has been the experience of every Atheist I have ever met. There (often violent and abusive) Atheism started with a hatred of rules starting in early childhood.

Personally, you've made your choice and your mind will not be changed until or unless a profound miracle takes place in your life and that's fine. that's your choice. You have to live with the consequence of it, not me.

Still, for you to insult and belittle something that has worked amazingly well not only for me but for billions of other people all over the world just smacks of bitter pettiness and profound immaturity so I'll just dismiss that and shrug it off as part of the tantrum of a spoiled little boy.

a)we are close to the same age. your psychological assessment is typical. to shatter that initial reaction: i am not atheist. deal with that however you want.

b)ive had MANY miracles happen in my life. none had anything to do with nonsense organized religion/christianity.

c)there will be no consequences to live with, realizing how stupid believing in a nonsense book is. im very happy!

d)im glad something works for you. there are fully functioning scientologists, mormons, muslims, tony robbins people, and all followers of a dumb thing. i dont hate any of you, i just shake my head at how you cant figure out something so blatantly retarded. if it works for you-GREAT. but you people frequently fuck it up for the rest of us. thats the problem.

this is not a tantrum, just a reaction to something that is WAY more bad than good. maybe youll figure it out eventually, maybe not. but how you havent is mindblowing to me.
