Doing this could be a better form of protest than simply deleting everything because it forces admins to work. And if the admins are busy, mods are in for a lot of fun.

be good to have a script to do that automagically. could trawl the pwnd password lists and find some old and forgotten reddit accounts, then burn them alive

Could be a bought account. People either sell their old accounts out of boredom or just karma-farm fresh ones to sell.
