It just goes to show how strong Saidit is in comparison. We've got good mods and good devs. They keep the site running, bless them. What's happening to Hexbear is what happens when a disruption and demoralization campaign works. The only difference being that on Saidit the campaign is being run by paid social media influencers who coordinate behind the scenes on chat servers, while on Hexbear it was their real userbase that did it. Just goes to show you how miserable the Left are all the time. Read the essay "Exiting the Vampire Castle" for a good example of this.

"Some of the attitudes I’ve seen towards the developers and admins have been very sickening, expecting someone working on the website to bend to their every will and command and not being thankful or even displaying basic human kindness and decency towards them."

Reminds me of some of the noisier users here. Let this be a warning to chill the fuck out and act like a civilized adult. Hexbear is a free service and the mods and devs are giving the users a full refund.

Some people wouldn't know when they are being targetted by agent provacateurs even if they all had it stamped on their foreheads.

Look at this banned comment. I think some of the mods are trolls, but maybe they're just "the real leftists"? It's quite the shit show.

I only see a blank page. Even archive.org archived blank pages. Look at these captures. What's up with that? Are they somehow shadowbanning entire sites now?

Link works fine, but the archive is blank. The minimum you need to allow (per uMatrix) is the hexbear.net address, and the www.hexbear.net address with the 9 CSS, 1 script, and 1 XHR. None of the other addresses or elements are necessary.

Here’s the deleted comment at the bottom of this https://www.hexbear.net/post/94999 post. But it's also showing at the top? Not sure what they're doing there. But this was not a agent provocateur. Some amazingly unselfconscious comments on that post.

I get that mods feel burnt out. I don’t see how this is helping.

Users largely want the vegan/non-vegan vitriol to be treated similarly to other sectarian issues. Enforcing that rule will resolve most of the issues we are having right now, and it’ll reduce the need for mods to ban a dozen people an hour.

No links to that site work in either of my web browsers, they connect to the URL but the pages look exactly the same as those archived pages. Blank.

Odd. I'm using chrome on an iMac, with uMatrix doing my filtering, in California. (hi fbi) There were 702 on there earlier, so I know I'm not the only one. I wonder if they block countries, VPNs, or address ranges.
