rightwing socially, left wing economically, this is how most people are in reality and if our politicians gave us this mix there would be no drama and we'd have a golden age. The rich have each party pick the opposite and fight over it in a bread and circuses and divide and conquer strategy.

Yep. The left-right dichotomy is fabricated; the real struggle is between the elite and the People.

they want to keep the political parties at about 50%-50% equal power so nothing gets done. They have the senate nicely at 50-50 right now

If democrats ever start to get too popular, they have them push some BLM shit or some weird transgender shit.

If republicans ever start to get too powerful, they have them push their tax cuts for the rich.
