pure curiosity, what do you mean by feminine? Because, while I might be wrong, I don't think muscle mass is related to political view.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (52 children)

They probably mean feminine behavior — but I honestly wouldn't even say that, since liberal women ain't all that feminine. If I had to choose a single word to describe how liberals behave, it would be "animalistic".

What woman would kill her own baby? What father would allow his child to be murdered? No real woman would have an abortion, and no real man would allow it — but animals are savage, they often kill their own babies for little or no reason, and that's exactly how Liberals behave.

[–][deleted] 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun -  (50 children)

They mean they want a manly man, not some limp wristed fop espousing women's studies. Someone who will bend them over and satisfy their cock lust.

Women say they want sensitive, nice guys because they're non threatening, but that type of guy doesn't drench their panties.

[–]Comatoast 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (5 children)

All of this is just personal observation and opinion, so take it with a grain of salt:

Eh.. strength, fortitude, the ability to make hard decisions when I can't and can take over when I'm overwhelmed. A feeling of protection, and a desire to protect them too, fierce loyalty.

Muscles are nice, but I mean it's not one of the only things that brings to mind masculinity. There's an aura it carries. Feminine men aren't feminine in the same way that women are, per se, but more the most wretched qualities generally negatively associated with being female, amplified. It's just different, and also kind of gross usually. Like an underlying insidiousness that they'll sacrifice you for whatever suits their will. To be fair, I've always been really put off by fuckhuge beefmuscles with like 4 extra Quad muscles and biceps the size of my waist-- but that's not really masculinity, more obsession with a challenge or some flavor of extreme narcissism.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

You want someone to be there for you when you need someone to be there for you. A partner. You and them against all the challenges and obstacles in life you encounter. Someone who will pick you up if you fall.

[–]Comatoast 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

There's inherent masculinity in the features that I described though, it's very much not the same as support and dynamic there has been with women (for me). Not to say that they can't be those things, but it's just extremely different.

I'll never understand sex.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (33 children)

It all goes down to survival. Our sexuality is an ancient survival mechanism. And I'm speaking in generalities here but typically guys want to fuck as much as possible, best chance for them to propagate. We're simple creatures like that. Women have an incentive to find a strong male because they're going to be knocked up with child then saddled with the brat and they need resources, a caretaker, to survive.

Women also have an incentive to surround themselves with weak males. More protection and care taking without cost (pregnancy). Second tier males who make failed bids to have a shot at breeding are exiled from the community (they exist today as incels, in olden times they usually probably just died off -- the natural revulsion a person feels for incels is instinctual).

I think that pretty much sums up everything about modern heterosexual relationships. Sure, we fancied it up over the years but it all goes down to the basics.

Homosexuality seems to be genetic, since computer programs can identify homosexuals that means there's a relationship to appearance and genetics would be the obvious answer. Why those genetics are expressed may have to do with environmental factors, such as overcrowding.

Trans... Fuck if I know, you should probably explain that one to me. I figure it's psychological.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (32 children)

Thanks, I guess. Obviously, people have to have sex to make babies, I just don't like it.

Transgenderism is quite simple: society expects people to behave in certain ways according to whether they have a penis or a vagina, even if the behaviors are entirely unrelated, but some people behave differently than the expectation.

I ain't sure how certain behaviors became associated with genitals, such as wearing make-up and shaving your legs, but others make more sense: women have kids, so naturally they take care of them, and that leaves men with the responsibility to work.

I behave differently than the expectation. I actually recently got kicked off my discord Cripplingalcoholism server for having a relationship that isn't gender normative. Not even like I'm drastically bending social norms, my wife just makes more money than I do. That still invokes feelings of disgust. Also goes back to the sex thing. Alpha males who are old (bad providers) would be challenged.

Anyways, my point is that it doesn't mean I see myself as a woman just because I'm an atypical man.

I really love the word ain't. Growing up my teachers liked to say "ain't ain't a word," but it's a nice southern touch if you ask me.

Gillette made shaving your legs a thing to sell razor blades. Seriously.

Make up is just about attracting a mate, lots of animals do it too.

Yeah, it's kind of similar to that. People tend to expect humans with penises to make more money than humans with vaginas.

I really love the word ain't.

Ain't you from Texas?

Growing up my teachers liked to say "ain't ain't a word,"

That's Yankee imperialism for ya. Empires always impose their language upon their colonies in order to strip the natives of their identity — that's what the federal school system was designed to do. The only way to save the South is to restore our tenth amendment right to educate our kids.

but it's a nice southern touch if you ask me.

It's not simply a "southern touch", it's a protest against imperialism! Honestly, if I had to choose one word to symbolize Dixie's struggle for sovereignty, it'd be "ain't".

Gillette made shaving your legs a thing to sell razor blades. Seriously.

Yep. Hard to argue that's a bad thing, though. I personally shave everywhere just because it makes me feel cleaner, lol.

Make up is just about attracting a mate, lots of animals do it too.

I don't think so. Married women wear make-up, asexual women wear make-up, etc. It's just about looking presentable. And even then, it doesn't explain why right-wingers think it's only for humans with vaginas.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (20 children)

I have never understood the belief that make-up makes one look presentable. I've rarely ever liked it on anyone.

[–]Comatoast 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (8 children)

It can be used as a way to bring attention to certain features. I've sat on top of the sink countertop about a billion times as a teenager after finding this old website with pixelated goth eye makeup designs just using my face as a canvas. There's a creativity there that can be tapped into that's not really meant to be pleasing for others or not, just fun and a way to absolve boredom. I've seen some pretty negative shit from both men and women regarding it, and I can't ever understand why it matters so much.

[–]bobbobbybob 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

i stopped wearing make up years ago (when my eyes got wrinkles!) because I wasn't living in a city, and I started doing real, physical work. Less of an ornament. Now i find the young girls in shops look so weird, with their thick masks of paint. the current huge eyebrow trend (drawn on in pencil over the real thing) is hilarious.

There are tons of women here who don't wear any, so makeup is less a norm.

I guess if I was going to a part-ay, i might use some mascara and lipstick, just to fit in, but it would feel really weird.

[–]Chipit[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

Rouge and lipstick simulate the increased blood flow that women experience when sexually aroused. It attracts more male attention than a woman would get otherwise.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

It's fine if you don't put on too much, but most people do.

I am.

Yep. Hard to argue that's a bad thing, though. I personally shave everywhere just because it makes me feel cleaner, lol

I shaved my ass once, used a safety razor too. If anyone isn't familiar with a "safety" razor it's like a razor blade sandwiched between a couple things of stamped metal. Anyways, I poked that around my butt cheeks and shaved all my ass hair without even cutting myself once. Which is impressive if you ask me. Anyways, I got this ingrown hair and it was... Unpleasant.

why right-wingers think it's only for humans with vaginas.

Um, well, I ain't gonna defend makeup.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I am.

Cool.

Lol, that's random.

That'll happen if you ain't careful.

mad man.

"Just say ain't."

I used to manscape long before it was a thing to feel cleaner and sexier, back when I actually was.

[–]bobbobbybob 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

i don't get why you feel the need to change sex in order to satisfy a gender role requirement. Can't you just be a dude and do whatever the fuck you want, without having to play make believe with hormones and pronouns?

TG is so patriarchy, enforced.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Some of it really is baffling. I'm a husky 6' dude, but I have very long hair. Not the first time. This time I have a long white beard. No one's ever confused me for female.

Other things I do people may consider me eccentric and no one would confuse me with "normal" - especially in the small normie city I've been in for the last 10 years. Yet no one has called the white coats to haul me off to the loony bin.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I saw the picture on infogalactic. You could probably pretend to be Santa and kids would believe you.

on your current trajectory, no, you won't.

maybe stop being afraid of it?

Nazi fetish much?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (5 children)

I really enjoy killing nazis in video games, that's about as far as I fetishise it.

[–]JasonCarswell 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Not you, the women who want the conservatives -> Alt-Right -> Nazis. I'm an unkosher jokester.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

I still don't get it. I'm a little drunk and high rn tho.

Q'plah!

[–]JasonCarswell 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Anyone not a SJW = Nazi. OP about a SJW with a Nazi fetish.

Either that or I was hitting on you asking if you like gay cosplay. Now you've got me confused and questioning...

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

OP about a SJW with a Nazi fetish

It's not though. The basic premise is liberal guys are weak. It's probably a fake fucking post but that's a legitimate sentiment. Women don't like weak guys. No matter what they say.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I was joking.

Sounds legit to me.

[–]bobbobbybob 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

what guy would wear dresses and cut his cock off?
