Is she actually a feminist, or is she just somebody trying to regain a sense of control in the face of health issues? The title of her post doesn’t point to cat lady nonsense, and feminists probably don’t often reference Joker.

Women's self worth being tied to their hair is weird. I give this story a big meh, so what. Everyone should experience a freshly shorn scalp at some point. Maybe not during the winter, but it feels nice during warm summer months.

I don't know what the issue is. . . ? As someone who suffers from anxiety (pure-O type), I applaud her for taking whatever steps she needs to feel powerful. I don't get the vibe whatsoever that she shaved her head as any kind of feminist statement or to "prove" she's worthy of happiness, as other responses imply.
