    I wish they were, kids post all kinds of cringe shit on social media. Hell I posted weird shit to my facebook back when I was like 11 that embarassed me so much I deleted my account and never made a new one.

    Every reddit thread is just jokes now, no matter how serious or interesting the post topic is. I think part of it is because that's easy behavior to script for bots.

    If you try asking for actual information about the post in the comments, the reddit hivemind gets mad at you.

    This is in stark contrast to the reddit of 6+ years ago, where the information was the valued part. I almost wish someone would make a whole new site that is like reddit with the [serious] tag.

    Reddit's content is now almost entirely basically 17 year olds laughing at 14 year olds.
