Reddit calls man's funeral trashy, because (allegedly) he got drunk, and died in a car accident, and then his loved ones put beer cans on his casket. YOU KNOW WHAT'S TRASHY? TAKING A PICTURE OF A MAN'S CASKET, AND ANONYMOUSLY SHAMING HIM, AND HIS FAMILY ONLINE WHEN THEY'RE GRIEVING. STUPID FUCKS.

What's wrong with these dumb cunts? Honestly. Do they have no self-awareness? Do they not know what hypocrisy is? Their behavior is a million times more trashy. This should be a private moment, and they're sharing it, and shaming these people while hiding behind their screens. Dumbasses. Seriously pisses me off. Yeah, this guy made a mistake, but he died, and his family is sad. They don't need some anonymous pieces of shit telling them they're trash. Fucking morons.

I agree with your assessment, and I also agree with theirs.

They could have sent him on his way with full cans of beer, etc.

If a hated rival went to his grave to defile it, then the individual may get there impression that someone had already had the same idea, and beaten him to it.

I also initially agree with /s/Zapped's comment.

I don't think that story is real. The top of the coffin looks no more than a foot under the surface.

The wiki on burial vaults has a photo which closely resembles the burial depth of the vault in the photo.

On a similar note. I went to a friend's funeral, and everyone was at his parents house afterwards. We were sitting around and no one was eating any of the catered food.

It's bad form to scarf down delicious food during social grieving events.

His brother pointed out that no one is eating the food and said, "Joe would have!", which was undeniable and hilarious.

It really raised everyone's spirits. It felt like he was there, and we knew he approved.

We all went back to Joe's grave after eating, and blazed up. Everyone poured some out for our young fallen brother.

It's understandable that these people could have thought of this as a positive gesture, but they could/should have thought it through.
