I wouldn't call such a short, casually-written post a "lecture", personally. I was expecting some long-winded, sexist argument on how all men are disgusting sex-obsessed pigs or something, not merely an extremely short pinned post saying that posters probably wouldn't get a date anyway, and now is the perfect excuse not to date.

I am also wondering how to date properly, since I recently finally left high school (and am also now legally able to consent), although I am interested in the same (male) sex rather than the opposite. I am also very very cautious about COVID-19 (I started wearing masks around January 27th when almost no one else took the pandemic seriously), so safety is a big priority to me regardless of what the government says.
