Genres are oppressive. There will be no categories in the future, just a big pile of everything.

This comment really made me laugh for some reason.

Everything is everything else. In fact there is no "else." It's just everything. No, not even everything - that implies some sort of separateness.

It's just Thing. All-purpose Thing.

It is just certain Postmodern notions taken to an extreme. There really are people who claim that putting things into categories is a form of violence, because any form of discriminating between things will introduce a value between things, and if things have different values then one thing will inevitably have more value than another thing. So we can't have categories and we can't have different things.

And of course some of those people are now in control over at reddit, where things are getting weird. Men can get polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) because men can have ovaries [if they are transgender men], and you will be banned from the PCOS group if you suggest otherwise.
