It was as early as 2013-2014 that I started realizing something didn't smell right on Reddit. Maybe earlier. I started to erase my account routinely because it seemed that if you were a doxxing lynch mob on the left Reddit was ok with allowing that. Around 2015 i moved to voat until I realized I wasn't actually a Nazi. I've tried to head back a couple times but it's just an echo chamber now, well constructed but unpopular arguments are downvoted to oblivion. It isn't the place I enjoyed anymore.

My opinions can be changed, but it needs to be through vigorous debate and intellectual honesty, not by stepping on my throat until I relent.

Ok, imagine you're a secret group. Let's call us the blue people.
Now we managed to infiltrate key positions of society which is great for us. We can start funneling money into our group.
However we cannot do this forever because people will notice it and other powerful players will challenge us. This is not a longterm solution. What we can do is to teach a lot of lies and false ideas to everyone but our own secret group. This way we will know that someone is gullible and unlikely to figure out our scheme if they keep repeating our lies. Otherwise they're loyal or hiding their power level. Either way it doesn't influence greater society against our favor, which is good. Now we also create a victimhood for the blue people and we create the idea that the worst possible person is one that hates the blue people. We call those people anti-blueists. If anyone hiding their power level decides to abuse their position of power, we can call them anti-blueists and wider society will dismiss their message because of ethos. However this is not entirely bullet proof longterm. What could happen is that those hiding over generations could use their power to get even more power until a critical point where they would be able to challenge our scheme.
A solution to this could be that we try to limit our positions of power to people that do not get children so the wealth of non-blue people does not accumulate. People like trans, gays, lesbians and feminists. We still have one problem and that is that collectively the red people are fairly intelligent and they have a history of figuring out our scheme. One way to prevent this is to promote that red people marry with the green people, because the green people have low intelligence. We obviously teach the red people that green people are just like them and that there is no difference in intelligence at all.

"Obviously nothing like this is happening. You're not an anti-blueist, are you?"

Now imagine that you have this scheme running and there are various ideologies that are attacking your house of cards. What might be seen as just an interest in intelligence research will be seen as an attack on blue people from the perspective of the blue people. What might be seen as just anti-LGBT will be seen as an attack on blue people from the perspective of the blue people. Etc. Each small area, while seemingly not at all connected or having anything to do with anti-blueism from the perspective of the gullible, is ultimately an existencial threat to the power structure that holds the blue system of dominance in place.

Who are the blue people in your analogy? Liberal leftist marxists, right?

The way I read it:

Blue = Jewish

Red = Non-Jewish European

Green = African

I think this is the case, because there are ideologies that view each of these groups exactly the same as the blue, red, and green groups in the hypothetical.

I am not from that ideology, so my question is why the Blue group would want to concentrate more power in Blue people in the first place. And if this really is a genetic-level thing, how does it account for Blue people that don't agree with the Blue agenda, or who don't know about it?

I also don't necessarily agree with the claims on intelligence, if this theory that the colours are based on race is correct. One's environment can affect intelligence a lot, especially if one does not have enough food in childhood, so if there are disparities in intelligence between groups, it may also be based on disparities in environment or even epigenetics that diminish in effect over time if the environment is continuously good, therefore be nullified when groups are mixed together enough, and have the same pro-intelligence environment for long periods of time.

As for why the blues want to concentrate power amongst themselves, why exactly wouldn't they? Though genetics can and do play a role, their particular religion (and more broadly, their entire moral system and outlook on life, even when divorced from the supernatural) is unique to their group. Worshippers of the Red faith and those who ascribe to Bluedaism had many contentious periods throughout history because fundamentally, they are different people who have different (often irreconcilable) views about how society should be. This is where the Blueish Question comes into the picture.

Regarding intelligence, you have to understand that IQ (or "g" for "general intelligence") is THE gold standard for psychological concepts. Nothing else in the field of psychology is as substantive, predictive, or replicable as IQ testing. I'll drop the silly color scheming and just say, the US has collected over 100 years of extremely robust data on intelligence, and it has been conclusively shown that there is a roughly ~15 point IQ gap between the average IQ of blacks and whites (~85 & ~100, respectively). This gap persists across all SES brackets (which would not be the case were the gap simply due to environment). In fact, it's thought that IQ is potentially >80% heritable in adulthood. That is a huge deal, and completely blows blank slatist egalitarians - and really, the whole leftist paradigm - out of the water. It's exactly why they are so quick to deplatform and cancel anyone who dares discuss or research the relationship between human genetics and intelligence, such as Nobel Laureate James Watson, or more recently Dr. Stephen Hsu.

What about K and R genetics?

One of the things which really annoyed me about reddit was not being able to link to Twitter directly if people weren't blue ticks and having to edit out social media usernames (meanwhile on the big subs no one ever bothered).

This was because they knew they had a perpetual flaming mob roaming the site and so made everyone put on a front of protecting people from them rather than actually dealing with the problem

In my cases I also hang out in other subs for pure neutral information about some stuff so it was easier to deal with it for me. But an actual discussion aside from blindly agreeing clearly was very restricted. Saidit is a good alternative for that.

Saidit: Where we remember that agreeing to disagree is a thing that exists.

Part of it was there were basically no real reddit alternatives alternatives for literally 10 years. Your options were to go back to digg, or go to fark or slashdot, basically.

Then voat came along, and that was a dumpster fire within about 6 months. It was supposed to be the one to save us, but it failed. Then no one else made an alternative for about 2 more years until saidit was made. Now there's like 5 functional alternatives and it's nice to have an actual variety of options.

I still think Voat would have turned out fine if everyone just stuck around and simply filtered out the things they didn't want to see.

Like the truth?

[–]oneinchterror 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Hey man, I like Voat and have been there since the early days. I have the same username over there and everything. All I'm saying is that I understand why it never truly took off or remained popular. Unfortunately the powers that be have made the truth to which you refer unpalatable to the bluepilled mind. People are more likely to come around if they are redpilled gradually and gently - they need to feel like they reached the conclusion on their own. Shouting "KIKES DID 9/11" in every thread may be cathartic, but it's not going to convince 98% of the population. If GOATS had practiced some decency and decorum, we could have kept a lot more people around to eventually redpill.

Yeah goats all seem to be inhabited by hicks and trailer trash

I wouldn't go that far, and as a White Nationalist I certainly wouldn't stoop to that sort of anti-White elitism. Most of them are decent people angry about the prospect of our future in this fucked up world.

people get into a routine on line just like they get into one in real life. You keep going back to the same places. If you open facebook first thing, you're likley to open it again.

It took me 3 times deleting the app before it stuck. Now no reddit on my phone and i get annoyed when the top result in a search is a reddit link because fuck that site.
