Why I am deeply alarmed by reddit censorship

Dumb fucks is all I can say. They could have kept a low profile and quietly shilled, gamed, advertised and manipulated without nobody who isn't keenly paying attention really noticing. Reddit was always biased and left leaning way before too, but it wasn't so overtly in your face.

The censorship and meddling and bias is so in your face and obvious now that nobody in their right mind will take reddit or anything on it seriously.

Once people are dialed in on what's going on, so much of the power is gone, manipulations become way less useful and effective. It's the same thing that MSM has done to themselves. Nobody trusts MSM.

But that would not achieve their true purpose: virtue signalling to their San Francisco peers and other woketards. This is why woketards are so lethal to any large organisation - their personal objectives (getting virtue points) is often at odds with the objectives of the organisation (gaining market share, making money). And woketards are some of the most self-centred narcissists you will find, so they find it impossible to put their own personal objectives aside.

I think that's why they decided not to do an IPO and not to become a publicly-traded company. Because if they did, then doing what you said would actually be illegal and they could go to jail or get massive fines, instead of it merely being bad business sense.

The entire point of the past 60+ years of subversion and indoctrination in was to create huge amounts of people that are NOT in their right minds. So that when they did this it would work.

      A few group of people made a new subreddit where people could go to but the mention of the subreddit was banned and anyone using the subreddit got banned.

      Exactly the same happened with r/Greece.

      In the r/Greece case, it is infested with Jewish bots that make various claims. I will make a detailed post about it when I have some time.

      When you could be a centrist and skate by, it was okay.

      Now centrist opinions are banned.

      Then they're so far left they even started banning some center-left opinions. This is going to backfire bigtime, because that's most of the people on reddit. They're just on an ideological purity trek, and they're alienating more and more of their userbase as they do so.

      What do you personally think will happen? I think it will be an interesting experiment to watch an echo chamber that keeps enforcing it's laws and restrictions. Will more people get sucked in or will it eventually destroy itself?

      More people will be sucked in initially and then they will self-devour. When every opinion is the same they slowly push to the more extreme and they will continue to alienate the mildly extreme. I suspect this will be the cycle for quite a while until it finally implodes and fades into obscurity.

      They couldn't help it. This is the inevitable fate of all Leftism. It is not conservatism. There is no status quo. Only more and more and more change no one even knows they are serving Big Brother.
