The science was already censored from the beginning. All discussions on //science were moderated heavily. You would only see the narrative. Then came //bestof and //politics
I used to see /atheism /conspiracy and /spacedicks on the front page.

If a particular subreddit is moderated strictly it is no problem. Each subreddit has defined rules, scope and community. it is a specific niche created and maintained by some people. The problem is deplatforming whole communities, not only a subreddit moderator erasing a post or comment.

I think it's also a problem if seemingly neutral subreddits like r/politics r/news r/europe r/[nationsubreddit] r/science etc. are one-sided and censored. If they wanted a leftist politics subreddit then make one where its explicit like r/LeftwingPolitics.
