"man i'm sick of this shitty country. look at all of those retards proud of where they live, lighting fireworks and shit. time to go rant to r/politics about how evil they are. that'll show 'em."

I admit. I couldn't help checking out /r/politics, mostly to see how they were treating the 4th. Not a single celebratory post. The top post was about how Trump's a traitor.

The top-most post even mentioning the 4th was about how slaves don't care about the 4th.

Checking a few comments, they're virtually talking about how much of a fascist Trump is and how we need to destroy the country to stop him. But yeah, Trump's the traitor...

Christ, what a sad way to spend the 4th. This comic nailed it.

I even celebrated the 4th of July by making a drawing of one of my Geography Girls, Ameri-chan in a white dress. It has to be pretty miserable to be unhappy in the 4th of July. I'm pretty pessimistic but at least I try to be optimistic sometimes. And this is coming from a social liberal.

I live in an area with a lot of foot traffic, which has been angering because of covid. Most people around my house are oblivious and don’t wear masks.

But today when I walked outside, for the first time in weeks, it was very quiet and very few were around. I was surprised, and then disappointed in the thought that so many people hate this country and are probably protesting by staying home. I used to hate America too and look down upon American pride, but now that I’m an adult I see how damaging and unproductive it is.

Where are you watching me from?

This is the first year I noticed the left was boycotting the 4th. It's a weird concept to me, but it's still par for the course. They can be angry, and the rest of us can celebrate.

Last panel should had him watching a stream, featuring one of those twitch thots. :P

... and the stream is her watching fireworks, only she's wearing shorts and a low cut top?

That was me last night, minus the Reddit. I went to bed at 9, FML.
