I do think the main reason for this stuff in universities is to keep the smart, upwardly mobile working class kids out so the dumb rich kids can keep their easy but powerful jobs in the media, charities, etc, without any serious competition.

No kid who hasn't grown up in the polite classes is ever going to get all this crazy crap right consistently, not least of all because it changes every week. Also those minorities the rich claim to love are definitely going to be excluded for wrongthink, no Muslim kid is going to put up with a non binary man claiming he should be allowed in the women's changing rooms.

So they get cancelled, socially excluded and drop out of their own accord and all the rich kids can claim ignorance as to why and create a job for themselves in a charity to enable more poor and minority kids (not asians) to go to uni.

It's a great excuse to purge right-wing dissidents from universities. Same with calls for "diversity" - it's a way of biasing the university towards a leftist agenda. The people discriminated against the most are lower-to-middle class white people, and those that benefit are the upper classes and lower-class blacks and Hispanics.

I actually think lower class blacks and other minorities will also be shut out. They aren't going to agree up is down for very long either, especially as they've seen real world problems rather than thinking dying their hair blue makes them an oppressed minority. Lots of black people calling out BLM and critical theory at the moment. They just get told they're not really black anymore when they step out of line.

Well, according to critical theory, they aren't black the moment they step out of line. "Black" is a political identity group to critical race theorists, so for example "Black Lives Matter" doesn't refer to right-wingers with black skin. The moment you adopt right-wing ideas as a black man, you become "complicit in whiteness" and a "white supremacist".
