Reddit nukes the /r/redditAlternatives list right as the mass exodus starts, shadowbans all posts and comments that mention certain alternatives in the moment people are looking for alternatives

That's petty and a bit frightening. I really haven't seen anyone just blanket advertising by spamming links or anything so I don't think they even have an excuse to say it was to stop spam advertising. Anytime alternatives are mentioned that I have seen at least it is people asking / talking about alternatives. The timing too right when people are going to be looking for alternatives. It's just pure filtering out the competition, pathetic.
