Reddit is cannibalizing itself with these bans and alienating a lot of its users.

I thought a perfect description of it, it went something like: the bans a few years ago banned 70% witches (bad actors) and 30% good users. Today it's vice versa and Reddit will lose alienate many good users who they merely call the witches but who are not ones.
