        I have only seen evidence of that in presidential primaries. You can't necessarily extrapolate that to all races. Although everyone should be skeptical. And it is more likely to happen with celebrity candidates in the running.

        Who cares. If watching your "enemies" have a "meltdown" brings you that much joy, I suggest you take a look at what you've become. Building things is better than schadenfreude. But it seems some people aren't capable of building things, and only find joy in the suffering of others? I find this attitude lazy and morally repulsive and I don't even like AOC

        I made a comment at about 5am on my regional subreddit, where I was correcting an OPs misunderstanding of my regions legal system.

        By about 8am it had a bunch of upvotes.

        Its now noon and its heavily downvoted.
