This is why I see leaving reddit as a loss, not necessarily as a principled stand. You're censoring yourself from the majority of people.

Saidit is a great alternative but it gravely limits our reach.

Yep, but the more good conversation and ideas we find here, the more that people who are sick of Reddit will stay. Digg was big, but it fell hard when its time came.

100% agree. This is why it bothers me people are using this site just for memes, news articles, and outrage porn. SaidIt needs to be about quality, not quantity.
