the result of the civil rights movement and the rise of other races and cultures from the end of the colonization period forbid a rightwing path in America at this point. this goes back to the cause of the allied power in WWII. various other reasons, perhaps not as permanent, forbid a centrist path in America at this point. this is a great loss, imho. thus the only option left.
