upon closer inspection i think its not a trident, but a roman eagle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_(heraldry)#/media/File:Vexilloid_of_the_Roman_Empire.svg

and the whole thing is in templar style (red/white - i have been told by a redditor - are pharaonic and many nations have these two colours in their flags): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_the_City_of_London#/media/File:Coat_of_Arms_of_The_City_of_London.svg

the flower on the shield might be for sol invictus.

reddit logo used to be blue/white. the real decline and truth opression started with the red/white colour change not even that long ago. i am not a fan of dan brown novels, but symbols do indicate the rules and rulers of the world.

The art for that character is a play on this character from Super Smash Brothers, look at the ears on the helmet: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=captian+falcon&atb=v109-6__&iax=images&ia=images

Well his main move is this firey punch that's like a pheonix, so that's probably why they went with those types of images
