Yes I agree, reddit is a playground for conversation AI development. Bots are having more and more of an impact on our culture through their simulated words
You know, this comment has entered my mind a lot since I read it 24 hours ago.
The media machine is doing simulated annealing on what narratives the public can support, both in a computational-simulated way, but also in a try-and-see way.
But also the public is doing the same, collectively honing their own narrative, seeing what sticks and what doesn't.
This is really what information warfare is about, and both sides are ramping up their information weapons and emotional weapons, to try and control the minds of others, to drive the world in the direction they think is best. Everyone is trying to do it simultaneously, and it's also the mechanism by which we collectively develop culture
