I'm confused, stuff like this seems to be a given at this point why is this interesting? Of course Reddit would have bots that comment, probably a ton of them. It doesn't seem to be that surprising. There are probably a bunch on sites that do similar things to try and replicate or manufacture traffic on their sites. Again, wouldn't be surprising in the least bit. These Reddit posts are becoming a bit stale. We know what Reddit is why do we keep talking about it? Oh wait I know, because it's an automatic front page Reddit hate circle jerk. Slow day on saidit? Post something about Reddit! Laughable

Well given that many of the users here were on reddit for at least a few years as their "home", I for one find it understandable that they are not yet as comfortable here, in their new home, as they were in their old home before it was stolen from them and that as such, they might feel inclined to analyze what's going on with their former home.

Moreover, by analyzing the downfall of reddit, everything that is learned can be used to prevent the downfall of saidit.

Not laughable at all.

Agree to disagree. Obvious things are usually not interesting. The fact that any mention of Reddit and it flies to the top of saidit is laughable to me. We can disagree on those points.

If you read the whole post, the author mentions entire mod teams , and bots that respond with things like "You little bitch." Why should this be a "given", or laughable?

Imo it speaks to a larger issue--a much larger issue--of all social media being a giant manipulation that is not for anyone's benefit.

Plus, this is the sub called "MeanwhileOnReddit". If you find it stale, you are welcome to unsub.

Don't you think all major social media platforms employ bots? I'm sorry I just don't find that interesting. You're right though I can and will unsubscribe from this circle jerk. Thank you my friend.

Yes, I think they all employ them. It was a surprise, however, to see an entire mod team made up of bots. That was useful info to me, though maybe I've just been living under a rock. I find unsubbing really makes my whole experience here more enjoyable.
