Collapsing is a bit optimistic. It is declining. It is degrading in quality. It is losing respect, clout, relevance, trust etc. But so is Facebook and yet the end is nowhere in sight. It still provides a service that is not replaceable in the near term.
Everyone here needs to start dropping saidit.net in posts all over the internet. Talk about it. Link to it. Reference it in other conversations. Basically advertise it, and accelerate the transition.
There was a mass migration from Digg to reddit when digg sold out. That can be repeated, but it needs a little help.
