"We somehow can't have Joe giving speeches".

"OK. Release the virus."

Guess Reddit has found it's candidate.

Or they accidentally jumped the DNC announcement where it's made official and they not only screw over Bernie again but also pick a candidate that won't win.

Weekend at Bernie's 2040?

I think we would be better off with a random seed of ~200 americans for POTUS. We would then implement rounds of ranked choice voting until a clear winner can be identified. I am so tired of Democrats and Republicans dictating our only viable options. Political parties are not the goverent and should not hold such significant power.

Yes it is unbelievable how much these two "private" organizations have total control over our "public" elections.

[–]FormosaOolong 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Insane! Putting it like that--private v public could really get some traction across the genpop!

Thank you for saying this shockingly clear and simple thing.

while ranked choice voting is probably the most fair it will guarantee democratic leadership for decades which might not be that great.

Understatement of the millennia!

There are reports of wholesale banning of mod teams across smaller subs, then banning of subs for being unmoderated.

The sinoviets are really taking this next election seriously.

reddit is giving me Digg.com vibes one day soemthing will happen to trigger a mass exodus from reddit.

I've been thinking the same thing for literally 3 years now, and it hasn't happened. I'm starting to think they might actually just be smart enough to avoid doing a mass exodus move like digg.com did

Honestly just terrible. I knew that certain opinions could get you banned from certain subs, but now that the admins are getting started with the whole "ban opinions with which you disagree" thing. Man, the site is run by those who like the censorship of opinions.

Gonna be a long work week for them.

How long has it been this bad with them ? I'm only noticing in the past three months or so.

Reddit has been on a pretty steady decline since 2015 or so, from my perspective. The censorship just gets worse and worse.

Owned by chinese company kings of propaganda and suppression of unliked opinions.

It started when Ellen Pao was hired to be the CEO of Reddit. The first thing she did was guy the RES analytical tools. There used to be a RES feature that would show a post's percentage of upvotes vs downvotes. That would tell you if something was actually unlikable, or merely controversial. The removal of that feature, among others, is what started the dumbing down of Reddit as a platform.

[–]FormosaOolong 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It totally started with Ellen Pao. There was a sudden wave of subs being banned, and it continued to get worse until she was ousted. Things plateaued for a while after that, until 2016 election year and then the shitshow has just continually moved towards explosive diarrhea ever since.

[–]Troll 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I helped remove Pao. All in a day's work. I couldn't have done it without the high-iq of reddit's BoD!

Since impeachment failed more or less.

[–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

It was a limited hangout. It worked as intended.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

And it was an exceptionally sloppy distraction - and further erosion of the Dems.

You're forgetting the lead up to that. YouTube was also censoring before that.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I think Joe Biden is a world class child sniffer. That's a complement Uncle Joe deserves.

[–]RickC-137 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

My original comment should have been:

"We somehow have to keep Drumph from having massive rallies and at the same time keep Joe from showing his dementia to the high school gym paid crowds and to the camera."

"OK. Release the virus."

[–]Jesus 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

It's a very neoliberal orientated echo chamber of censorship, luckily I was also banned by thedonald sub three times for simply asking questions, there too, an echo chamber exists of what would seem are people who are even more confused by the left right dichotomy.

[–]realister 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

oh yea I been banned from the donald alot too but they are cool with ubanning just message them and explain you are not an SJW lib.

[–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Not a good reason. Daddy Donny MIGAS are just as lost in the two party sham as the leftists are who vote for the democrats.
